Jamie Bruehl

I volunteer for Cleveland County CASA and was very excited when you did the LoveWorks segment. Abused and neglected children desparately need love and hope. I volunteered with 2 teenage girls for years and hopefully changed their life by being a positive role model for them. God used me to intervene in their lives. I believe some people have been hurt so terribly that God's miracles are the only thing that can change their lives. Letting them know that God loves them and is sending people to do His work by helping and loving them is the most rewarding thing I have experienced. God put it on my heart to be extremely compassionate for abused and neglected children even though I am a lawyer with my own family and have never been abused. I strongly believe that God made it my life mission to help abused children. I believe he wanted to use me for that purpose. I have aggressively tried to get other people involved in helping this group of kids and believe it can truly help the world be a better place. To see the hurt, confusion and distrust in their eyes and hearts be replaced with love and hope and higher self-esteem is the greatest gift and reward and it is all owed to God.
